Who We Are
Health Wellness Check performs a matrix of personal services customized just for you or your loved one
Feel better in the comfort of your own home. We offer a unique service that maximizes your dollar, and keeps you safe and secure in your own home. Instead of calling five or ten specialized companies, we can take care of most of the non-medical needs of the elderly. We provide an array of "specialized" services - we are at your service to help you with "whatever" it is you need. We assist with personal care in your home and also perform the following: running errands, shopping for presents (and delivering them for you), making a meal, assisting with light housework, picking up your children in an emergency, or caring for your pet in your absence. Whether you need daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly assistance due to aging, illness, recovery, or rehabilitation, we will provide an individualized service that you can trust and depend upon. We even have a highly trained experienced handyman to help you out in case of an emergency, and we will be there to ensure that everything is taken care of without any stress on you. Our employees are screened, and bonded, and have undergone a JSO background check. The founder of our company is a nurse investigator with experience in Florida elder care.

We are a for-profit corporation - but profit is not paramount to the mission. The mission is to make the lives of the elderly easier, safer, and secure. We will work with you to develop an affordable plan that will accomplish your goals. As you get older, your needs will change and we will be here to assist you when you need us. We understand that not one care plan fits all. We will take the time to get to know you and develop an individualized care plan just for you. We offer a subscription service that evolves and changes with each new client. We fill in the gaps - we are not a home health care agency - we offer personal services that help you enjoy your life and your freedom to get about. We are not a Medicare provider, and we do not accept insurance but we may do so in the future if we determine there is a demand for it.
Personalized Services offered by subscription plan - weekly-bi-weekly or monthly plans
As we get older, we cannot do everything that we used to do but want to do. Sometimes life gets overwhelming and complicated. That is where we come in. We offer the services that you want and need. We not only strive to help you with everyday tasks but want to develop a long term relationship with you. We provide one-on-one attention and care that cannot compare in other settings. If you or a loved one is having trouble living alone, our service will give you the safety and security that you need to stay in the home. We will perform a health wellness check for you or your mom or dad on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. We will set you up on a personalized plan that can be adjusted to suit your needs - that is our specialty. You will subscribe to different levels of service, which may include, reviewing of medications, basic health assessment and status (by a Florida LPN), a trip to the food store or the pharmacy, making your bed, straightening up your home (no heavy cleaning) or a ride to your doctor or dental office. If you are in the hospital, we can feed and walk your dog, or ensure your cat has fresh water and food, and change her litter box. We are pet friendly to the maximum. Many of these services (and more) are available by monthly subscription starting as low as $149.00 a month, out of pocket. This is the average cost of cable TV, and we do so much more! We are not a "medicare provider". We do not accept insurance.

Personal Services
Our wellness check specialist will stop in at a prearranged time to check on you or your loved one. We will ensure you or your loved one is safe, and has everything that she/he needs. We assist by performing non-nursing functions but with the same level of professionalism.
We assisting by preparing and serving your meals, shopping, bringing you your mail, picking up your prescriptions, walking your dog, changing the cat litter, straightening up your home (no heavy cleaning), making your bed, and other such tasks that you would easily be able to do if you had not undergone recent surgery or had a fall or other medical condition. Do you need someone to talk to? We have compassionate, empathetic ears. Do you wish to record your life's experiences or your current medical experience? We have experience taking your biography, or life story and recording it for your own personal use. (We do not keep any copy of your personal records).
Physical / Emotional Disability Support
Arthritis, physical disabilities, emotional trauma and age-related conditions are some of the few circumstances that prevent patients from caring for themselves. Our health wellness check specialists will assist you with daily tasks such as mobility, eating, exercising, and grooming. We will sit with you and listen. While we are at your home, we will develop a plan that will allow us to assist you while you are getting back on your feet, and we will do everything in our power to get you back on your feet quickly, and safely.
Wellness checks for mild dementia or early Alzheimers
If you or your loved one is experiencing mild symptoms of dementia or early Alzheimer's, and wish to remain in their home, we can help you or your loved one live a happy, safe and fulfilling life at home. We can do random or scheduled checks to make sure that you or your loved one is "safe" and taking their prescriptions as prescribed, and eating properly. We also assist with preparing meals, and serving meals, light housekeeping, and ensuring the home is "safe". We will check the perimeter for objects which may cause trip or falls. We will make safety suggestions for your home or that of a loved one. Depending upon the program you select, we are available routine checks as well as "emergency" calls - you call us and we will immediately go to the home and make a "wellness check".

My nurse consultant is Kristen. She makes an appointment window, and always arrives on time. I love the comfort and security of the same person, someone that I know and trust, coming to my home every week. Kristen does a full health assessment at each visit, and records it in my progress book (provided by the company). She ensures I am taking my medications properly, and goes over possible side effects of any new RX. I have difficulty making my bed, and she does this for me. She picks up my prescriptions as needed. Once a week Kristen fills a basic grocery list and puts it in my refrigerator. When I go visit my children, she comes in and makes sure my cat has a clean litter box, fresh water and food. She waters my plants, and always locks the door behind her, and sets my alarm. The best part of this service is that I can call her with questions and she will get me the answers. If I have any kind of problem, she is there to help me either by phone or in person. I trust her service above all others. For a small monthly subscription fee, I have complete happiness and security in my life because I have an angel watching over me - someone who cares, and someone who will come when I need them. I no longer have to depend on strangers when I have an emergency.
